Access to is only reserved for customers of the Bank who are authorised by the Bank by virtue of having signed the OPTIM.net Application Form and related documents.

The information which appears in the mobile app and on the website, whether provided by the Bank or other information providers, is not intended to provide professional advice and should not be relied upon in that regard and users accessing it are advised to obtain appropriate professional advice when necessary.

Any services offered on this website may be withdrawn or amended by the Bank at its discretion at any time and from time to time without prior notification.

Privacy Statement

This section outlines the Bank’s privacy policy in respect of personal information provided by visitors. If you are also a customer of the Bank, the privacy of the personal information provided by you as a visitor may also be governed by the Bank’s privacy policy applicable for the country where your account with the Bank is located as required by any local regulations in that country and in that case, the personal information provided by you as a visitor may be used for purposes other than those set out in this Internet Privacy Statement.

The information the Bank collects from you will depend on how you use the facilities on this website.

Personal data are especially collected by the Bank in the form of the user’s ID and the associated password, required to access the user’s account.

Visitors may submit voluntarily personal information to the Bank, in which case the Bank may collect such information. The Bank may use this information to send such visitors details of banking products or services and other marketing materials if the Bank thinks they may be of interest to such visitors, or invite such visitors to participate in market research and surveys and other similar activities.

If we do ask you to provide personal information for such direct marketing and promotional purposes, we will specify the purpose for which such personal information is collected at the time of collection. If we do send such promotional mailings and marketing information to you thereafter, you will always be given an opportunity to opt out, should you wish to.

If you visit the mobile app and/or the website to browse or down load information, the system will record the date and time of your activities, the information you viewed and/or downloaded.

Your visit to this site will record only the Domain Name Server part of your email address and of the pages visited. Such information will be used to prepare aggregate information about the number of visitors to the site and general statistics on usage patterns.

In addition to the above mentioned data, when using the mobile app of MyOptim.net, information is collected regarding:

  • The phone state : it is simply looked into to detect whether the device has been jail-broke. If so, the application shuts down automatically. The Bank does not store the phone state information.
  • The access to the mobile phone camera : the sole purpose of it is the possibility to scan QR codes. However, such access requires prior authorization from the user.

Some information will be collected through the use of “cookies”. A cookie is a small text-file that is transferred to a computer hard drive by a web page server. The cookies store information about your use of the app and the website and can be retrieved by them. The Bank uses cookies to identify your user name, and track information about sites in which you are interested and to store and maintain user preferences. When using the website, you can change the configuration of your browser to reject all cookies. However, if certain cookies are disabled, you will be unable to access certain or all parts of the Bank’s website. When using the mobile app, the cookies stored are deleted whenever you sign out, or when you close the mobile app.

The Bank will not use or disclose information collected about you (including information collected by cookies otherwise than for the purpose made known to you, a purpose that would be reasonably expected, a purpose required, authorized or permitted by or under any law, regulation etc.)

In addition to the Bank’s duty of confidentiality to customers, the Bank shall at all times fully observe the following principles, save as otherwise appropriately agreed by customers, in collecting, maintaining and using the personal data of customers:-

  • collection of personal data from customers shall be for purposes relating to the provision of financial services or related products;
  • all practical steps will be taken to ensure that personal data are accurate and will not be kept longer than necessary or will be destroyed in accordance with the Bank’s internal retention period;
  • personal data will not be used for any purposes other than the data that were to be used at the time of collection or purposes directly related thereto;
  • personal data will be protected against unauthorised or accidental access, processing or erasure;
  • customers have the right of access to and for correction of their personal data held by the Bank and the customers’ request for access or correction will be dealt with in accordance with applicable local law and regulations.

A customer’s personal data is classified as confidential and can only be disclosed by the Bank where permitted by applicable local law or regulations or otherwise legally compelled to do so.

The contents of the mobile app and the website are provided to users "as is" without warranty or representation of any kind, express or implied. In particular, no warranty or representation regarding non-infringement, security, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from computer virus or similar items is given in conjunction with such information and materials.

Internet Communications

Due to the public nature of the Internet or otherwise, communications over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure and may be subject to interruption, transmission blackout, delay or incorrect data transmission. The Bank assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred by users as a result of any delay, loss, diversion, alteration or corruption of any message either sent to or received from the Bank at the user’s request over the Internet. The Bank shall have no responsibility in any manner for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of any use of the mobile app and the website.

Linked Websites

If the mobile app and/or the website provide hyperlinks to other websites and/or mobile apps, the Bank shall not be deemed to endorse, recommend, approve, guarantee or introduce such other websites and/or mobile apps or any services or products found on such other websites and/or mobile apps. The Bank is not responsible for the contents of or the set-up of any such other websites and/or mobile apps linked and has not investigated, verified or monitored the contents or accuracy of such other websites and/or mobile apps. Any access to and use of such other websites and/or mobile apps is entirely at the user’s own risk and subject to any terms and conditions applicable to such access and/or use and users are deemed to have irrevocably waived any claims against the Bank for any loss or damage suffered a result of any access to or interaction with any other websites and/or mobile apps via MyOptim.net mobile app and/or website.

Intellectual Property

All trade marks, service marks, logos (if any), images, texts, iconographic and photographic representations and documents which are displayed are the property of the Bank or other parties and users are not permitted to use the same without the prior written permission of the Bank or such other parties.

The contents of the mobile app and of the website are protected by copyright and no part thereof may be reproduced, copied, modified, stored, transmitted (in any form or by any means), distributed, reused, reposted, reverse engineered, decompiled, or used in any way for commercial or public purposes without the Bank’s prior written consent.

Specifically, the names “Crédit Agricole”,“Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank” , “CA-CIB” and “OPTIM” and any logos corresponding to these names are registered trademarks of the Crédit Agricole group. You may neither reproduce, delete, re-use nor modify these distinctive signs in any way.

Important Notice for customers maintaining accounts with Crédit
Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank Singapore Branch only

Under the new rules introduced by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, all wire transfers effected through our Bank on behalf of our customer must include certain customer information, including the customer’s name, account number and last registered address in the accompanying wire transfer message or payment instructions, with effect from 1 July 2007.

By initiating a wire transfer through us, the customer shall be deemed to have consented to the inclusion of the above information or any other details required under the new rules, in relation to the wire transfers.
